After deciding I wanted to take up cycling, two classic challenges sprang to mind – London to Brighton being one. In April 2018 I set off on my own, with very little experience to complete the classic 54 mile route. Rather than attempt to navigate public transport to get back to my home in Buckinghamshire, I rode the additional 90 miles back again. Rain and multiple punctures could stop me – a brilliant twist on a classic challenge.
